In August 2015, Amsterdam welcomed hundreds of ships from all over the world for the mega event Sail. The huge tall ships were the big crowd pullers.  We were curious what those ships do for the rest of the year. Where are they sailing to? Or are they in a harbor somewhere? I processed large datasets with GPS data from the ships into this visualization with routes.
