Provincie Noord-Holland

The Smart Mobility Program of Provincie Noord-Holland is an innovative initiative aimed at creating a more sustainable, efficient, and connected transportation system in the region. Leveraging advanced technology and data-driven solutions, the program addresses the challenges of urbanization, climate change, and mobility demands. It focuses on enhancing traffic flow, improving road safety, and reducing environmental impact through intelligent infrastructure and collaborative projects.

The traffic on North Holland’s waterways will only increase in the coming years and technological developments are happening very quickly. Cars and ships are becoming increasingly smarter and are taking tasks off drivers’ hands. In the coming years, the province will invest € 11 million in researching and applying smart techniques for better traffic flow and traffic safety on roads and water. I made several productions for the Smart Mobility Program for the Province of North Holland.

A beautiful example are hubs. Mobility hubs are centralized locations designed to connect multiple modes of transportation, such as buses, trains, bikes, and shared mobility services. They promote seamless travel by integrating infrastructure, technology, and services. Mobility hubs enhance accessibility, reduce traffic congestion, and encourage sustainable travel, supporting efficient, eco-friendly urban and regional transportation networks.
